Speech Language and Feeding Therapy
Speech and language therapy helps children to prevent, assess and treat language and communication disorders.
Speech - The goal of a speech therapist is to help the kid to communicate in a useful, meaningful, and functional way. The speech therapist also designs and implements alternative and augmentative communication devices and methods ( PECS- Picture exchange communication system) with children who have little or no verbal abilities.
Feeding - Feeding therapy, in its simplest form, is when a trained occupational or speech therapist helps teach a child how to eat or eat better.
